Can someone please tell me what the pod on the right wing leading edge just outboard of the strut might be hiding? I've never seen anything like that on a civilian aircraft before and it's bugging the heck out of me.

The left wing does not have one.

Thanks for your help.

Weather radar.

Fairly standard on turbo-props, like Socatas and Pilatus PC-12.

Thanks for the answer.

The thought of it being radar related did cross my mind.

Weather radomes are mounted on the right wing of single-engine high wing aircraft such as the Cessna Caravan shown in your photos to present less of the pilot's sight blockage than if mounted on the nearer left wing. Cessna has offered such pod mount weather radar radomes as an option on some C210 Centurions, some C337 Skymasters and the C208 Caravans, among their prop or turboprop aircraft.
