N427JG

My name is Brandon Roycroft and this aircraft was originally purchased by my grandfather, Joseph Glass. N427JG (His birthday and his initials). I am still looking for more information such as who is the current owner of the plane. If anyone has any information please reply. I would love to buy this airplane back one day so we could keep it in the family.

Thank you,
Brandon

I believe my family had this aircraft at Palwaukee Airport in Illinois through the mid-1970's. If it is, it had a red and brown, two-tone paint back in the day. The brothers upgraded the radios after a long search for state-of-the-art navigation radios of the early 1980's. Pre-GPS. My dad took it to Arkansas, Las Vegas, Boulder Colorado, Hilton Head Island. I believe it went to Florida with my uncle and was flown a bit by my cousin.

The search page tells me it's in Alabama. I hope is has held up and is in good shape. Good luck with your quest bringing it home.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry it's been awhile. Your family may have purchased it from my grandfather. He owned it when they lived in Elk Grove, Illinois and he kept it in a hanger at DuPage Airport. Like you said, I hope it is still in good shape! Hopefully I'll be able to bring it home one day. I'm definitely going to contact the owner.
