The 2007 NBVC Point Mugu, California AIRSHOW will be held Saturday 31 March and Sunday 1 April with gates opening at 8am each day. Admission and parking are free. No cooler containers are permitted. The featured Airshow act will be the USAF THUNDERBIRDS flying the Lockheed-Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon jet aircraft in close precision maneuvers and aerobatics each day.
Just announced is that the first time ever public F-22 Raptor demonstration will be at this show. ( CORRECTION] This press release info is incorrect-the F-22 Raptor made a brief display flyin at the 2006 EAA Airventure-See that post for further info about their appearance also at EAA Airventure 2007) The F/A-18 Super Hornet will also fly.
Flight demos will start at 10am each day featuring the latest in aviation and vintage aircraft on display. Excellent photo opportunities. Food and beverage booths and great souvenirs.
Location: about 8 miles south of Oxnard, California on Pacific Coast Highway 1. Take Wood Road exit from north, Las Posas Road exit from South. No parking permitted outside Base fences. Cars may be searched.
