2nd Jan:- Flying Pan Fly In, Otherton Airfield

1st & 2nd Jan:- The Famous Brass Monkey Fly-In, North Coates

8th & 9th Jan:- BMAA Icicle 2011 Leicester East

Jan-8th & 9th- 39th Balloon Meet Warren Farm, Savernake Forest, Marlborough, Wilts

Feb 6th- Vintage Sunday Fly-in Old Sarum

Feb 6th- Breakfast Patrol, Sturgate Lincs

Feb 13th- VAC Valentine Rally, Old Sarum

Auster Club Fly - ins for 2011

2nd May 2011. Kimberley Hall, Norfolk

25 June 2011. Fly in from mid day on Friday24th June, leave late afternoon Sunday 26th June.

2,3rd July. International Auster Club and The Air-Britain Classic Fly-In 2011 at North Weald, Essex (EGSX)

23,24th July. International Auster Club invited to Breightons 40's Weekend and Hangar Bash.

The Real Aeroplane Club, Breighton Airfield, North Yorkshire.
Events 2011

March 27. Spring Fly-In

April 15/16. John McLean Aerobatics Trophy Meeting

April 24. Easter Fly-In & BBQ

May 22. Home Built Fly-In

June 12. Ladies' Day Fly-In

July 23/24. 40's Weekend Hangar Bash

August 21. Summer Fly-In

September 18. Helicopter Fly-In

October 23. Hibernation Fly-In

Great little North Yorkshire airfield but entry only to members of The Real Aeroplane Club!

MUSEUM MEMBERSHIP - £25
This membership is a must for non-flying enthusiasts and supporters of the Real Aeroplane Company as it is now the only way to gain access to the airfield - even on event days. Many Museum members view their membership as a 'season ticket' allowing access to the airfield at weekends throughout the year. Members may also invite family members or close friends to the airfield on event days provided they accept full responsibility for their guests. (The Club reserves the right to revoke this privilege should it feel that the privilege is being abused.)

Thanks for that Chris.

As a member, I have to say that Breighton is a visitor friendly field (my wife and I were offered and accepted a flight in an Auster by a complete stranger!), no car parking charges, free access to parked aircraft and hangars, and as a result of "connections", XH558 (as I like to think of her!) made a couple of circuits of the airfield on ther way home from an event last year.

May well do that

as the web site say's "Members may also invite family members or close friends to the airfield"

As I normally do my trips with the same three people, £25.00 split four ways works out very cheap for the 9 fly-in's
