Problem with Newly Changed Incomplete Airport Designators

Ken, I am having trouble uploading aircraft photos to Lake Hood SPB or Sea Plane Base as LHD. You have recently changed LHD simply to Lake Hood, Anchorage, AK. I formerly loaded many photos to LHD without a problem as the correct full name came up.

Trouble is: Lake Hood, Anchorage, AK is NOT LHD's official name.

I would like to be consistent in my uploads and their classification that I have established using the true name of this sea plane base. It seems to me that your mid-stream change in airport designators will cause many errors that should be nipped in the bud. I have several hundred photos to upload to LHD. I will hold them in abeyance until clarified.

Ken, This is the only way I seem to be able to explain the change.

The problem comes up in the Member Section when trying to enter the airport data. For example, entering N4201H some days ago brought up Lake Hood Seaplane Base for LHD against N4201H, and that is shown correctly on that Aircraft profile page.

Now, I try to enter LHD against any new N number, the foil shows Lake Hood, Anchorage, AK as the only possibility suggested, instead of Lake Hood Seaplane Base. So, when I type LHD the wrong designator for LHD is printed in my Member section data, rather than the true name of Lake Hood Seaplane Base.

I'm not sure where a URL enters in at that point.

that's only an inconsistency between photo upload page and display page, the airport ID (LHD) was recorded and displayed on photo page correctly.

The problem has been fixed.
