I have several photos of current military aircraft, aka Thunderbirds, F-16, F-22, etc.

How do I post these photos since there are no tail numbers or should I not post them?

It is always nice to see the photos, even if they are "Unknown".
I have found many people on this site that have helped me id aircraft... many times.

Many f-16s have tail numbers, but not "N"numbers.

These links may help you.

Example:
Aircraft 85-0460 Photo (Year 1985) I added a zero in front of the 460.

The Serial is 85-0460

Hope this helps.

Thanks again. Here is an example of some of the pictures I was wanting to upload. I don't see any serial numbers on Thunderbird planes.

Thunderbirds could be hard to do.

Some known Serials. ...i think...

86-0039 - F-16D
86-0041 - F-16D
86-0281 - F-16C
87-0313 - F-16C
87-0319 - F-16C
87-0323 - F-16C
87-0325 - F-16C
87-0331 - F-16C
But it is hard to say which is flying... or when...
You might want to check out this site for more info on who is who.

Ken,

The service teams aircraft are rather difficult to ID but there are folks out there that seem to know most of them.

I agree with F-16.net, their data base is quite extensive, try their forums as well.

You might also try asking around in the Fencecheck.com forums.

Nice photos on your site!

By the way, it's right way to use 00-0000 format for US Air Force aircraft, though sometime you may see 00-00000 format. I always try to fix those in 00-000 format (omit the leading 0).
