Our Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D. C. also at other locations-National Air & Space Museum-Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in VA and the National Naval Air & Space Museum-Pensacola, FL has a huge repository of historic aircraft plans, specifications and blueprints, including those of military aircraft. Their aircraft data bank is available to searchers and builders/rebuilders/restorers for cost of reproduction and shipping as a U. S. Federal Government resource service.
Suggest investigate them also for any historic aircraft data needs. (Too, there are secondary sources of commercially-offered products, if commercial copyrights have expired). Many American firms simply reprint U. S. Government documents and pamphlets (many free from your Congressman or of nominal cost which have no copyright) for profitable resale, and there is no prohibition against this. _________________ PP ASEL |
