I took Timothy up on this offer last year at EAA AirVenture 2008. We met one day at the old OSH Air Traffic Control Tower in welcome shade. Alas, that tower is now demolished. One connection is that Timothy flies in and out of Anoka County Airport (Janes Field) ANE in Minnesota, where I learned to fly in 1965-66.

Timothy is a fun guy with good photo equipment and skills and our meeting together watching the daily afternoon Air Show was very enjoyable. Alas, neither of us took photos of each other. I hope someone can take him up on his offer to meet. I won't be there this year, but a pilot friend has promised me a 1,600 photo disc of the events and aircraft. I took 2.000 photos on that extended 13 day flying trip last year, most uploaded here.

I'm going to try to head up to OSH for 2010. I haven't been there since 1998, and I wasn't into photography much then so I have very few pics - plus the weather was crap the day I was there.
