catching birds in an aviation photo, makes it a better picture sometimes. and I think that the 737 didnt like that gull invading its picture. so it was chasing it away.

Ztex, That is a great picture! That Gull was getting out of there quick!


It is amazing how Birds can sometimes make a picture, "if they are not in the way of the aircraft".

When I was out getting picture of the F-16s, these birds sure got out of the way very quickly... Shocked

I was waiting for the cloud of feathers to go everywhere... but it is good to see that nothing happened.

A week ago I was spotting @ JFK, took this photos where birds appear extremely close to an aircraft. 4 birds seen on 1st photo, 2 - on 2nd photo - 1-2 sec. apart. Could it get 2 sucked in the engines - for A380 engines, I don't think that it could be dangerous?

Even GA aircraft have bird problems. It looks like one is trying to hang on the right wing
