Hi All,

I am glad to inform you that I just added a new "Attachment" function to our forum section.

Now when you post a message, you can attach up to 3 files along with it. You can also attach 1 file with each private message.

Each file is limited to 5MB in size. You can use up to 100MB for message files and 20MB for private message files.

File formats supported include image files, arhives (zip, rar, gz, etc), and documents (PDF, Doc, Docx, etc).

After a while, you can check how much space you are using, by click on your own username at bottom of page, in "Online Users" section. Once in "View profile" page, you can click on "User Attachment Control Panel" (just below upload quota) to manage your attachments.

Make sure you check the FAQ.

This module is added in a rush. If you find any problem, please post here.

Thank you.

Ken

Hi Ken,

Is special permission required to add an attachment in the Civil Aviation forum? I can see the option in other forums, including below this reply window, but not in Civil Aviation. I have a photo to add to an unusual accident report.

Peter.

There are some permissions need to be set up. It should be okay now.

OK. Working fine, as can be seen in my thread on the "Aircraft collides with ferris wheel".

Peter.
