stolen pictures

Hi all,

someone has "stolen" pictures here at A-D.com and re-edited them (must have been a lot of work though) and posted these on Facebook.

I am really not a kind of person who doesn´t likes to share my pictures if I am asked to do so. But if someone steals my pictures re-edit them and post them without any permission, I am a little pi.... off

You're right Friedrich, they are stolen. On 63 you can see where the watermark hasn't been completely removed under the stencil behind the numerals 63.

However 34 was stolen from another photographer on another site. He hasn't even tried to cut off the copyright bar.

Contact him and remind him that the photos are yours, tell him the copyright infringement is frowned upon and you would like your photos to be removed from his page...nicely.

If he does not remove them, you can report the photo theft to Facebook.
Click on the picture to bring up the larger version.
At the bottom right-hand corner of the picture there is the word Options, click that.
Then click Report/Remove Tag.
There you will find "Is this your intellectual property?" on the bottom right hand side of the pop-up.
Click that and choose either of the two options....Send Message to the offender or Report to Facebook.

These types of thieves are running rampant on FB...

I wouldn't even give him the courtesy of a warning, I would report him directly to Facebook. The guy went to great lengths to remove the copyright notices and knows that what he was doing is wrong.

In Germany, it seems, that we don´t have these option to report directly ...

It must have been a lot of work to do this ...

I contacted Mark Dukes, but I still have no reply ... why didn´t he just drop me a mail and I would have give him a copy ... I hope he will answer this question
