Clay Lacy Aviation has listed the late Hal Fishman's 1983 Beech B36TC Turbo Bonanza S/N EA-362 for sale. Hal died last year of cancer, and was the KTLA news Anchor, TV Channel 5 in Los Angeles, almost forever. Hal owned the plane from new; only 1,175 hours TT. I photographed it in 2006 at CMA while parked at The Waypoint Cafe ramp with cowls up cooling the turbo, probably.
Professor Hal had an earned PhD, and was one of aviation's most influential spokesmen and booster. He always was the sane voice who got it right anytime there was a GA accident. He frequently covered SoCal news events by air, and was always in the studio by his 10 pm newscast with timely and right information.
