How come we can't search for Canadian and International Airports? It would be nice to be able to find airport pictures from around the world.

I used the Search-Site feature to look for YYZ, YOW, LHR, FRA, etc and all it finds are pictures of aircrafts at those airports

Also, why are the Recently Uploaded Airport/Airplane pages only limited to 12 entries and they should be multi-page lists..

Thanks

Dean

Hi Dean,

Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't have enough information on international airports to make individual pages for them, only airport code and name. I would appreciate any tip on where and how to get those information.

I will take a look at the second issue, shouldn't be hard.

Hi Ken

I can supply you with either an MS Excel or MS access of all Canadian Aerodromes that somehow you can incorporate into a Canadian Airport Search. I would need a week or two to update the file with the current info from Nav Canada.

The files I have do not contain as much info as what you currently display on the US airport data, but it is a starting point to provide info on Canadian airports.

Cheers

Hi Dean,

That would be excellent. Excel format should be ok. Thanks in advance.

I have modified "Recent uploaded photos" pages (both aircraft and airport) to show up to 100 pages, in 10 pages, with 10 on each.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Hi Ken

The list I extracted contains about 2000 airfields and heli-pads in Canada. A lot of the smaller airfields are privately owned and have seasonal turf or gravel runways. Would you be ok with a list that excludes the heli-ports and small private turf/gravel airfields?

If the list contains helipads and airstrips, that's okay. More data is always better.

Thanks,

Ken
