I believe it has not been recorded in the group, but the SLSU or Juana Azurduy Airport, located very close to the city of Sucre (Chuquisaca, Bolivia) has been closed. The new international airport is called Alcantarí, (ALC or SLAL), it is near Yamparáez, about 30 km S of Sucre and started operations in May 2016. If you look for it in Google Earth you will not see it in the 'recent' homogeneous mosaic of images, but in 'history' images of 2014. I wanted to send a kmz file, but I can't. There are some more data on it in Wikipedia, such as
altitude 3,112 m / 10,210 ft
bearing 18/36 length 3,600 m 11,811 ft
No pictures yet.
