A new international standard airport has been built by private operators, and is now operating at Toowoomba, Queensland. Three airlines operate services from this airport, and at least one international freight service conducted by a Boeing 747F operated by Cathay Pacific Cargo has used the airport. The first RPT service took place on Nov 17, 2014.
The airport is known as Brisbane West Wellcamp, IATA: WTB, ICAO: YBWW.
