Firefox login problem

I am unable to login to the member section using Firefox 3 (actually 3.0.4). I don't have any problem using IE 8 beta.

After I fill in my email address and password and click Login it looks like it's working (the progress bar moves), but then the two boxes go blank and I'm still on the login page.

I have cookies enabled. My ad blocker software is disabled for this site. I tried turning off popup blocking.

I've tried everything I can think of to try. Firefox is my primary browser and I don't want to have to keep switching.

Has anybody else had this problem or can anybody suggest a solution?

Hi Chris,

I installed lastest Firefox 3.0.4 on a desktop PC running Windows XP. I repeated log out and log in from forum section for a few times, every time I was able to log in successfully. I am composing this reply from it now.

Which log in page you were using?

I am using the member login page. I can log in using the forums login, but then when I try to go to the member section I end up at the member login page again and I am logged out.

Since you can't duplicate the problem, it must be something in my Firefox settings or addons. I sure can't figure it out. That's why I though I would post here and see if anybody else has run into this.

I've fixed the problem!

It had something to do with cookies. I usually have cookies turned off, but I did try turning them back on and that didn't work. I added airport-data.com to the exceptions list for cookies as allowed and that didn't work. I then added www.airport-data.com to the exceptions as allowed and that fixed the problem. For some reason, even when I had cookies turned on, Firefox was still blocking the one for this site.
