Good Afternoon Everyone;
The Nova Scotia International Airshow, which has been held at the Halifax Stanfield International Airshow for the last few years, has been moved to Yarmouth Airport this year.
Last year, the Airshow was cancelled due to the hurricane that was pummeling us.
If you haven't checked out this airshow before, and I am sure alot of you guys haven't. I highly recommend taking the trip out here to see it.
The Nova Scotia Airshow commitee has stated that Yarmouth was chosen for more freedom of Air Space for the event.
The CFB Snowbirds and CF Skyhawks will be in attendance, along with the CF-18 Demo team. United States participation has been approved, hopefully the A-10 Thunderbolt will return, as people complained they did not want the A-10 here last time because it was the model of plane that killed Canadian soliders in Afghanistan during that time, and for the first time, the USN F/A F-18F Super Hornet.
I am planning on volunteering at this event as I volunteer at the Airshow every year since I have lived here in Nova Scotia, but last year due to the hurricane, I wasn't able to attend.
If you can make it here, drop on by and check out the airshow Smile

Nope...Not quite...We've been hit by a couple of hurricanes in Halifax in the last couple of years...A few years ago we were hit head on by Hurricane Juan which killed 2 people and did LOTS of damage, we also get the tail of hurricanes alot up here,which still causes quite the mess..
