 Crashed in Lake Michigan on January 5th, 1945 whilst attempting to land on the USS Sable. Recovered on November 21st, 2009 and now refurbished and on display at The National the Museum of Naval Aviation, Pensacola, FL. Prior to service on USS Sable, this plane had served at Guadalcanal in 1943.
