| After being withdrawn from use at Elstree in 1964 G-AOBW spent some time in a garden at Stanmore, Middx before being recovered by the British Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend in 1967 who repainted it in RAF colours as NP339. The aircraft passed to Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) Ltd in 1970. The wings were used in the restoration of Proctor G-ANZJ / NP303. The fuselage was sawn in half and the rear was used as a travelling exhibit by the museum until it disintegrated through glue rot. The front fuselage was burnt 1970/71. |
