This plane was purchased by the AA for traffic spotting duties, hence the registration. Later it was owned by Kenneth William Clark of The Willie Jig Flying Group in which he was reputed to have buzzed the Eiffel Tower in 1963

I have many happy memories of Alpha Alpha which was owned by my Father TT Parr during the 1970's and was kept at Lulsgate Airfield near Bristol. The aircraft was crashed near Badminton in Gloucestershire,my Father sustained serious head injuries but recovered.I believe that Alpha Alpha was a total loss.I still have a log book and some old Certificates of Airworthiness in my possession.

My late father was a member of the Willy Jig group at Lulsgate. I have a good photo of AA which I will search for and post as well as a Willy Jig tie ! Happy memories as a very young lad flying in her. I caught the bug and have flown all my life for the RAF, Cathay Pacific and British Airways. I still fly light aircraft too in North Wiltshire.

I had a pleasure flight in this aircraft for fifteen shillings from Weston Airfield in around 1970. The airfield is now a Helicopter Museum. WE flew over Cheddar Gorge.
I was lucky in that the following trips weren't full booked, and I had two further trips for five shillings each. These were my first ever flights. Dad took some pictures but chopped the tailfin off. No reviews in those days.
