 3 July 1970: Dan-Air Comet 4 G-APDN flew into the Montseny mountains, northwest of Barcelona, Spain.

 119 passengers could be accommodated in a special charter seating package in the later 4C series.

105 passengers and 7 crew lost their lives in the accident on July 3rd 1970.
