I bought this aircraft, Cessna 120 G-BHLW circa 1982. It was an excellent aircraft and we spent many happy holidays in France with it. With a stick instead of a yoke, it would have been near perfect (my opinion !) A Belgian claimed to have imported the first 120 but Cliff Lovell was not far behind with this one! It came here from Florida. I spent many an afternoon, trying to clear the flakes of dried "sludge" from the wing tanks which always crossed my mind when we turned to fly over the Channel but the motor never faltered......! I am sure they are still there !! |
