This MIG-21PF (S/N 67-1811)was one of two at Mojave in 1992 when I took the picture. It is shown here still in the colors of the Polish Air Force,[Polskie Lotnictwo Wosjkowe] Lask AB, Krakow with the badge of the 10th PLM (Fighter Regiment)on the nose. Also on the fuselage is the stencil of a goverment aircraft factory ( a stylized aircraft superimposed over a toothed gear and the letters WZL-3 [Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze Nr.3] I was fascinated by this aircraft and thus researched all the information.
