I was amazed to find this aircraft which I owned from 1968 thru 1975. I purchased it in Colton,CA, flew it to Arkansas and back during 1968-69 as I was building a feed mill in Hope.Arkansas for Kroger Foods. It was totally overhauled during 1972 ( including the prop) in Modesto,CA and I sold it in 1975 to my Insurance Agent in Fresno,CA. I had new radios, glide slope, etc. put in while I was in Colton/Rialto by a firm in Upland,CA.. On my trip back from AR, a piston "blew" at a field near El Paso(Old Sunland Park) and I got it repaired over a weekend at EP International. REW |
