I learned how to fly in this aircraft at Hillsboro Aviation in Oregon in the late 1970's. I ended up owning it and flying it every day after my job. It wasn't on floats at the time. She is a very gentle and fogiving craft, a real joy to fly. That 36 ft. wing made riding thermals a lot of fun. I did a web search and found this picture. I hope her current owner is having as much fin as I did. I made some improve, ents to it and always kept 2 coats of hand rubbed wax on that yellow bird. |
