| Glad to see this plane is still flying. Unfortunately, I made an emergency landing in 1961 after running out of fuel. My flight was diverted by a severe thunderstorm over Bowling Green, Ky and I landed 3 miles short of runway at Central City, Ky which was my destination. Wiped out the landing gear but otherwise no damage. | |
