Hi, I ran across this site while looking for something else and this T-craft (N50966) caught my eye. I’m a retired airline captain, and learned to fly in this aircraft back in 1957. At the time it was based at HWD (Hayward Airport, CA) and owned by the Hayward Flying Club. It started life as a L2-M and was converted to a civilian aircraft with a ‘Keys Conversion” done by Fred Keys here in the SFO bay area. I got my “private pilots license” in it as a teen-ager and lost track of it when the club sold it years latter. If anyone is interested, I do have some pictures of it from that time, but not sure how to upload them to this site. Thanks, Dave Gordon |
