 my partners and I owned this helo for a couple of years and was based at Schlemeyer Field Odessa TX 1981 or so.
It started slinging belts and my partner was flying too low and slow to properly auto rotate and it hit hard enough for the main rotor blades to flop and cut off the tail boom. I last saw the helo at the Kerrville airshow in 1986.
