N48749, 1941 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR C/N 1402, 1956 Paid $1,100 El Monte airport. Came with extra props, parachute, box of goodies. Sold for $1,500 bucks. Saw the buyer year later. He had sold it for $1,800. Took my Commercial check ride with Howard Riley in it.
