The registration 4L-EUI has never been used by this airframe.
Probably a mixup with c/n 163

Registration sequence for c/n 340A-114 is
SE-F14 > N371MA > N114SB > N114XJ > (SE-LJN reserved) > LY-DIG and is currently registered (since 2008-07-30) as SE-LJN

Thanks Roger.

I have deleted the linkage to 4L-EUI and altered the current status for SE-LJN to "Registered".

The aircraft was delivered to the Swedish Air Force on February 15, 1964 under s/n 340A-114. The airplane was registered in Sweden as SE-DXM and was assigned to F5 Wing based at Ronneby. As a military aircraft, it served for 24 years logging 11,031 flight hours and traveling more than 14,000 kilometers.

On March 31, 1988 it was sold to Svensk Flygtjanst AB and converted to fire fighting aircraft using a water tank under the fuselage and a tank in the wing root. In 1993, it was sold to JAS Aviation Ltd. of New Zealand who converted the airplane again this time equipped with a big water tank in the belly and an internal combustion engine that could power an electric generator to supply power to fire fighting equipment. www.tcswebmail.info www.upsers.fyi www.prepaidgiftbalance.fyi

In 2002 it was sold to Canadian operator Air Spray Ltd. operating out of Red Deer Airport in Canada as C-GTXW (the registration had been previously used on another Saab 340). Air Spray used it until April 2009 when it was sold to its current owner who bought it for spares. It comes with three APU's, three generators and two starter motors but is missing both propellers.
