The caption for this aircraft states that it is a Cessna 182G c/n 18266731. I assume that this information was obtained from the online Tanzanian register which states this fact. However it looks very much like a Cessna 206 to me. Is this a case of the Tanzanian CAA re-allocating a registration and not updating the online register? Anyone out there got any more info on this aeroplane?

You are correct.

The photo is of 5H-SGR a Cessna U206G Stationair 6
c/n U20605837
It's ex: 5H-FSP > C-GIBN > (N6199X)

There is no profile for this airframe, yet.

Thanks John, I was sure it was a 206. Just shows that you have to be careful with the info you find on the internet (even if it come from an official source!) Who now corrects the information on this website?

I was holding off creating the profile, to do some confirmation, of what I posted earlier.

Seems that the US reg N6199X was assigned, but ntu as a/c was exported (imported?) to Canada as C-GIBN.

Very sparse or no additional data (web or printed) as to dates or owners.

The image location error is corrected and we can readily revise/add profiles should you come up with further data.
