Talk about flight endurance! The latest series of drones is a family of atmospheric satellites solar recharged with a flight endurance of five years. Titan Aerospace announced their SOLARA series aircraft, the largest with a wingspan of approximately 198 feet that can fly about five years, recharging its battery using solar cells.

The largest SOLARA drone can have a payload of 250 pounds and flies at 65,000 feet altitude. These drones can be used for live mapping, monitoring of narcotics traffic or provide 4G cellphone repeater service during disasters.
