I am trying to locate a 1959 Cessna 172 tail # N7393T
As I am in flight school this airplane was my grandfathers. Upon investigating its no longer registered. How can i find out where the aircraft is? I know the previous owners name but cannot find him. Any help would be appreciated! Woud love to restore it toits condition when i was a young boy and flew with him

Thanks so much for the info. Heartbreaking as it is. I found little info where I thought it had been wrecked and was hoping it was incorrect but this reafirms my suspicion. Thanks again for your help.
