Private Messages - warning about virus messages to members

I've received two messages recently warning that I have a virus on my computer from "forumadmin and "ladyadministrator". They give two different links to check your computer. I suspect these messages are fake and may lead to dange if the links are followed as the two "members" do not apparently have anything to do with the forum administration.

Anyone else getting these messages?

Yes and they lead to an invitation to download files/software which I am quite certain will lead to the infection of your computer.
I use the "paid for" AVG anti virus software and this invitation informed me of various viruses, worms, etc which are clearly not present on my computer, confirmed by a complete scan.
This should be removed from the site with some urgency.

I've received the same two messages. The last being today. Under no circumstances would I click that link.

I have not received any messages as of yet. But I too would not click on any link provided in an email.
This site does not (to my knowledge) check for virus infections on personal computers.
There should be no reason to notify members of any virus infections.

I would not click on any link in an email that is regarding [ lottery winnings, virus checking, or that pretty girl you have never met but wants to talk to you ].

There are two more that need deleting and blocking-StopAdmin and LadyROOT. Same caution about opening links applies. Apparently, this site is being targeted with variations of the same message. I have received three private mails here from three variations of the various cited addresses. Do not click on the links!

We had a forum posting this morning with "Porn" all over it. I deleted it, but then realized that I should have got the username.
(sorry... in my haste to remove it I wasn't thinking.) Next time I will get the persons name for you.

I sent a new private message to airport-data.com for the removal of a user.
It appears that we are now the target of quite a bit of porn and such.
I will do my best to try to keep up on this. I know that airport-data.com wants to be a family friendly site for all those who love aviation.

If you do encounter any forum posts that appear inappropriate please feel free to contact me or airport-data.com.
We will do our best to remove them as quickly as possible!

I just received the email from the same user as the post above.

Funny how they say that they will also contact your isp if you fail the test - good way to get sued imo! Besides, your isp isnt going to do anything just because you have a virus on your computer because - think about it - your isp would be partly to blame for the virus since you went thru the isp to get to the net, and the virus (if any) came thru your isp to your computer!

Anyway - who ever is playing games is still playing.
