Looking for information regarding this plane and the history of what happened to it. It was sold to a guy from San Francisco and found in a grass strip in Nogales, Mexico. The log books were sold to a guy in Minnesota however he never received the plane. A FAA investigation had been conducted to trace the plane back to a drug enforcement case.

Incident Summary

N4JL, a Beech D50C aircraft, was involved in an incident during level off touchdown on December 24, 1981 at 12:44, at Muni (), located in Des Moines, IA.
There were a total of 2 people on board, of which 0 were flight crew members, 0 were cabin crew members, and 2 were passengers. No fatalities occured.
At the time of the incident, the pilot in command held a commercial pilot certification, and had a total of 6000 hours of flying experience.
The aircraft had accumulated 4267 hours of flight time, and was powered by 2 engines. The engines were manufactured by Lyc, under type Go480g2d6.
Incident Description
Pilot forgot to lower gear until propellers hit runway, pulled up, dropped gear and landed without go around.
