I agree with you. Joe's listings are very helpfull.
But your example counts only for the US AIR FORCE.
US-Army and US-Navy have other systems.
Army: FY followed by 5 digits
Navy: 6 digits without ... |

The profile of the D-IGMe tells that it is an 1977 build Beech 200.
In fact the actual D-IGME is an Cessna 525 Citationjet.
