I have been a private pilot since I was 17. I took a long break from flying and only just returned to the sky. I am at a point in my life where I can afford to purchase an aircraft. I have always loved the Piper Arrow, and that is what I have been looking at. I don't have specific questions, but I am wanting to know what your experiences have been as an aircraft owner. What were the surprises? What are the things you never considered before becoming an owner? How does the cost of flying as an owner compare to the costs of flying as a renter? Anecdotal stories are welcome.
