2012 Sun N Fun - Lake Agnes Splash-In

My attempts to get to the 2011 Sun N Fun Splash-In were thwarted when a tornado ran though the area on that day.

Better luck this year , nice weather attracted good numbers to the 2012 Event and photos of aircraft that made it to the Splash-In can be found in this 1 page view at

A Cessna 165 on floats-how rare is that! Without wings struts, the cantilever wing design might make boarding and deplaning a bit dicier with nothing much to hang on to.
