I very briefly worked for the operator of this DC6 we had two DC6 aicraft.
International Airlines Inc with offices in Texas, California and Amsterdam.
We were based at Schiphol airport Amsterdam in 1966. We flew passenger and cargo charters. We were moved to Miami and the plan was to fly aircraft engines from Miami to Caracas for General Motors. The tech crews were Americans and we employed local cabin crew. .
The carrier never got the contract and operations were shut down.
Rumours were that the aircraft was part owned by Frank Sinatra. It was also connected to the CIA but I dont have any proof of that. I will upload a photo of this aircraft i n IAI livery. asap.
