N5248Z @ M45 - 48Z at lovely Alpine Co,a favorite stop. Also at 5867 feet,it was a good test for a plane and Alpine has lots of runway.

39246 @ JAQ - 246 at Westover in 1968-69 after it was recovered by its owner( a Calif Highway Patrolman) who wanted to learn to fly in it,but didnt. It is in front of the very frist hangar built at JAQ and for some time the only one. It was torn down long ago.

N2371P - 71P flying from Visalia,Ca after purchase to Tracy.Even with flaps down,71P is finding it difficult to stay (on the slow side) with the 85 MPH 78E in the two plus hour flight. Not a good match.

N89364		 N9078E - 78E at a duster strip near Hy 505 in Esparto,Ca. If I were to land today at the same location,some trees would be in my way.It is now an orchard.
N9078E		 39246 - 246 as it leaves Arizona and into New Mexico.This pic (last one) ended my 21 year association with 246.My frist plane that I learned to fly in and 900 hrs of adventure.Hard to say good bye.
