 This aircraft was delivered to the USAAF during June 1944. No record is available regarding its service during WWII, but it did continue operating with the USAF. During 1957 it was based in Alaska with 5001st Operations Sqdn at Fairbanks. After retirement the plane was displayed at Lawson Army Airfield, Ft. Benning, GA. It was later moved across post to the National Infantry Museum. It is currently displayed marked as a troop carrier in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
