 C-133A N199AB (ex-61999 USAF) now is owned by the Travis Air Museum, Travis AFB, CA. The airplane was donated to the museum by Cargomaster, Inc., owener Morris Carlson, Anchorage, AK and delivered to Travis on 30 Sep 08. The museum is restoring the airplane to its USAF markings of the period 1960, when it was assigned to the1501st Air Transport Wing, from Feb to Nov. First assigned to the 1607th ATW, Dover AFB, DE, in Dec 1957, 61999 returhned to Dover in Nov 1960 and served there until retired by USAF on 19 Aug 71. After USAF service, 61999 was purchased by Properties Investment Enterprises Ltd, on 20 Jul 73. It was planned to be operated as an airborne hospital, by the Foudnation for Airborne Relief. The necessary modifications were never made. Carlson bought the airplane in Mar 78 and flew it to Alaska, after restoring it to airworthy condition. After landing at Travis, the airplane had logged more than 18,250 hours and 2,500 landings.
