New Jerusalem Airport (1Q4) - View down runway 12.At one point the FAA said the threshold was to near an existing irrigation ditch, so airport was closed.Somebody came up with the idea of moving threshold down 300 feet as seen. FAA happy and airport reopened.

  • New Jerusalem Airport (1Q4) - N4385E on downwind at 1Q4. Some of the best tomatos ( my opinion) are often grown in the fields around the runway as seen in the picture.Hope the tomatos that were needed for taste testing, were not missed? Sadly only about 2/3 are picked at harvest time. - by S B J by S B J

  • New Jerusalem Airport (1Q4) - 1Q4 when it was closed for a year due to threshold issues.
