An unusual accident in Australila yesterday when an ultralight aircraft failed to gain altitude after takeoff and became entangled in a ferris wheel at a carnival a short distance from the end of the runway. Two persons on the aircraft and two children on the ferris wheel were trapped for a number of hours but sustained only minor injuries. See news link:

The aircraft was an Australian designed Morgan Aircraft Works Cheetah Sierra 200, what would be classified as a Light Sport aircraft in the US and is certified as a training aircraft.
